Limefitt Park is a beautiful lodge park in the Lake District. It is close to Ambleside and Bowness (just over 3 miles from each) but it is peaceful and tranquil and is a perfect retreat.

Limefitt has it’s own shop and pub but there are also two fabulous local pubs – The Mortal Man and The Queen’s head within a 10 minute walk, and the fantastic Booths’ supermarket in Bowness is only a five minute drive away. (Check out their extensive range of local beers)

There is loads to do for you and your family. There are games fields with badminton and tennis nets and the river pool provides hours of amusement for the older children.

For the youngsters there’s a fantastic play park with slides, swings and a zip wire, and for your dog there is a large dog field where your best friend can run off any energy they may have left after the stunning fell walks that can be done directly from the site.
